Beaver Fever is an introduction to high-mileage riding days and will help prepare you for long distance touring. All participants will receive a patch and those who complete the ride in 12 hours or less will receive a commemorative certificate highlighting your accomplishment. Proceeds from the ride will support Wreaths Across America and placing wreaths on Veteran’s graves in local Comal County cemeteries. The ride is open to all riders and bikes. Registration is $50 per person (rider or passenger). You must register on-line at www.gruenehog.com (main page) by 15 April 22.
The rules are simple:
- Arrive at Gruene Harley-Davidson at 6:30 a.m. to check-in and have your starting odometer reading recorded and attend a short safety brief. KSU at 7:00 a.m.
- Ride the prescribed route stopping at each of the six identified checkpoints.
- Get a dated business receipt (gas or other product) at each checkpoint.
- Return to Gruene Harley-Davidson bewteen 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. to have your ending odometer reading recorded. Those who complete the ride in 12 hours or less will receive a certificate identifying their accomplishment.
- Attend Pizza Party at Gruene Harley-Davision starting at 6:30 p.m. where patches and certificates will be distributed.
