Paying on-line is safe and secure. GHOG Membership runs from 1 Jan - 31 Dec and dues are not pro-rated. Membership must be renewed annually on 1 January. The 3rd Annual CVMA Chris Kyle Memorial Ride (note this is a non-HOG sponsored ride)
San Antonio riders to meet at Kent Powersports (next to Rudys BBQ on I-35 in Selma, TX)…safety brief at 0715 and KSU at 0730. The group will ride to Cowboys Harley-Davidson in Austin where they will meet other riders and ride to the National Cemetery to pay tribute to Chris Kyle.

Benefit Ride for Officer Claudia Cormier of the San Marcos Police Department
Officer Cormier was hit by a car while responding to a call. She lost her leg and has a long road to recovery. Lunch at Happy Cow after the ride. Monies raised will help with medical/rehab expenses.

Come camp out and ride the Twisted Sisters…the weekend is sponsored by the Alamo Chapter of the Black Sheep. If you’re interested in attending this event, please contact Matt Gardner at alamoblacksheep@aol.com and let him know you’re interested. Spots are limited based on the number of RV’s available.
We will be camping at Park View Riverside next to Garner State Park. This is the eighth annual event and always a great time.

Memorial Ride for Dane Walden
The Memorial Ride will take place on Saturday, August 14. A non-HOG ride from Gruene Harley-Davidson to Dane’s home in Spring Branch will begin at 9:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow with pulled pork sliders being provided. Those planning to attend are invited to bring a side dish, chips or condiments if possible.

If you would like to escort the trucks carrying the wreaths for Wreaths Across America to the Fort Sam Houston Cemetery, please meet the truck convoy on Friday, 17 December at Family Leisure (just North of FM 3009 behind Walmart) at 17975 Interstate Hwy. 35 North, Schertz, TX 78154.

Thru the Chute is Back for 2022!
About the Event:
Thru the Chute Boat Race is a cardboard boat race held annually at the New Braunfels City Tube Chute. Competitors launch their handmade vessels through the Chute as spectators cheer them on. Between races, guests are encouraged to participate in educational and imaginative activities hosted by event partners on the banks of the Comal River at the City Tube Chute.
2022 Event Date: April 23, 2022
Boat Check-in at 8:30am; First Launch & Activities begin at 10am

Teams must pre-register to compete in this hilarious and educational event. There are two different classes; please sign up for the Novice or Expert class.

Dear Gruene HOG Members,
Gruene Harley-Davidson will be hosting a Food Benefit for Jessica & Tim on July 23,2022 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the dealership. Jessica is a long-time dedicated employee at Gruene Harley-Davidson. Her husband, Tim, unexpectedly passed away due to health complications. We are asking for your support to help raise money for their medical bills.
If you’re not able to attend the Food Benefit, we are accepting donations at the Donation Drop Box in the Apparel & Licensing Department.

Blue Knights Law Enforcement MC event on Saturday 9/10 at Cowboy’s Harley-Davidson in Austin, TX
