Richard Marhofer
Safety Officer

We take safety seriously and strive to ensure all our rides are conducted in a safe manner.  We encourage everyone to ride within their limits (i.e. ride your own ride) and to obey all traffic laws. Chapter rides are always alcohol free.  No one may consume alcohol before or during a chapter ride. Only after the destination has been reached and the lead Road Captain declares the ride officially over may alcohol be consumed responsibly.

When we ride in a group, we follow standard Motorcycle Safety Foundation protocol for group rides. Please watch the video below to refresh your memory on some of the more common hand signals and how to ride in a staggered formation.  The lead Road Captain will review all ride procedures during the pre-ride safety briefing.

If you ever have a question or concern about safety, please contact me via email at safety@gruenehog.com or through the Contact Page.
